2/21/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted Josiah upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Josiah appeared to be in a positive mood evident by his facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHP-C inquired about his day. Josiah verbalized to QMHP-C that he had a good day and that he ready to play his game. QMHP-C engaged Ms. Bates in a discussion to determine his behaviors. Mother reports when Josiah cannot have his way he will get upset with everyone in the home and lash out at which behaviors can last up to 20-40 minutes in duration. 2. Behavior: Josiah participated in the session and he did not need any redirection from QMHP-C for the remainder of the session. He was cooperative and attentive while participating to the fullest. QMHP-C continued to encourage Josiah to keep positive behaviors to prevent from getting in trouble in the home setting on a daily basis. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C listened actively and gave feedback to Josiahâs mother. QMHP-C educated Josiahâs mother on the importance of maintaining support and encouragement to her son. Josiahâs mother was taught the importance of maintaining her own stability and developing her own coping skills to deal with stressful situations. 2. Intervention: QMHP- educated C Josiah and his siblings on methods they could utilize to reduce conflicts amongst each other. QMHP-C educated the family on how their unaccommodating living situation has attributed to their increased arguing and loss of cohesion and methods they could use to decrease it. 1.Response: Josiahâs mother expressed feelings of frustration as she verbalized a lack of motivation to continue dealing with her childrenâs negative interactions with each other. Josiahâs mother expressed feelings of powerlessness regarding her and her families living situation. 2.Response: Both Josiah and his sibling agreed to utilize methods to reduce their negative interactions. Josiah and his family acknowledged their current living situation as a contributing factor to the loss of cohesion and contracted to use tactics to reduce family stress.
